Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 August 2026

These terms define the rules for using the Legisto platform, formerly operating as LexOps, provided electronically by the operator to law firms.

1. Definitions

Provider: the company operating the Legisto platform (Genaitive sp. z o.o., VAT ID 9662207839).

Service: access to the Legisto platform and its features provided electronically.

User: a person using the platform on behalf of a firm, based on an invitation.

Firm: the entity (data controller) that enters into the agreement and invites users.

Account: the set of resources and permissions assigned to a user within a firm.

2. Type and scope of services

Legisto provides firm-management tools: cases, deadlines, time, receivables, documents, and AI-assisted modules that operate with a lawyer's approval (human-in-the-loop).

AI features are auxiliary. Final substantive responsibility for content and decisions rests with the lawyer, in line with professional ethics.

3. Conclusion of the agreement and terms of use (pilot)

Registration is by invitation only and requires acceptance of these terms.

During the pilot, the service is provided free of charge. Terms of any future paid use after the pilot will be agreed separately, with a notice period.

4. User obligations

Use in accordance with the law and the purpose of the service, protection of access credentials, and enabling two-factor authentication where available.

Responsibility for content entered into the platform and for the legal basis of processing third-party data rests with the firm.

5. Service availability and support (SLA)

The provider makes commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service continuously available. During the pilot, no availability guarantee expressed as a percentage is given.

Technical support is provided by e-mail: kontakt@legisto.pl. Critical reports (loss of access to the service) are handled with priority; others in the normal working mode.

Planned maintenance is carried out, where possible, outside the firm's working hours, with advance notice when it may affect availability.

6. Complaints and termination

Complaints may be submitted to kontakt@legisto.pl. We handle them without undue delay, usually within 14 days.

Either party may terminate the agreement with the agreed notice period. After the collaboration ends, the firm may export its data, which is then deleted in accordance with the data processing agreement.

7. Liability

The provider is liable on general terms, excluding damage resulting from use contrary to these terms and from circumstances beyond the provider's control (force majeure, infrastructure-provider outages).

The service does not constitute legal advice. Professional responsibility for legal actions remains with the firm.
